I specialize in helping parents understand the process of getting their child the support they need to be successful. The IEP process can be overwhelming for parents as the information can be daunting to comprehend. When parents are armed with a clear understanding of IEP process, they are better able to ensure a "student first" educational plan with meaningful goals and appropriate accommodations.
Relationships are key when working with a student. Knowing a child's interest and areas of difficulty allow me to enhance student learning by creating engaging lessons and support, based on the individuals strengths and needs. Using evidence based instruction methods, I help students develop strategies to support their learning needs.
